Access control

Access control is done via an iOS (iPhone or iPad) or Android device with the 3cket Desk app and an internet connection.

Access to the application is unlocked with a 9-digit code available in manage event > 3cket Desk.

Which participants can check in?

In the automatically created 3cket Desk code, all tickets and invitations valid at the time of check-in will be able to access, with a tolerance of 15 minutes before the start date of the ticket and 15 minutes after the end date of the ticket.

A ticket valid at another time can only be checked in at its respective time.

To allow a ticket to check in outside of its time slot, simply change the 3cket Desk code settings and select the tickets that are valid for check-in. In this way, the 3cket Desk code will validate according to the list of tickets chosen, regardless of their time.

To control access at different check-in points with different rules, different 3cket Desk codes and work zones should be created with the respective settings.

How do I check in?

To check in on a participant, simply scan their QR code or search for them in the list of participants - these two options are available by default, simply by selecting the QR code icon or the list of participants on the screen by swiping to the side.

For events with contactless wristbands, the"Contactless wristbands and cards" option must be activated in the 3cket Desk code settings.

  • Green notification at the top of the screen when check-in is successful, indicating the participant's name and ticket type
  • Notification in red:
    • CHECK-IN AL READY DONE - when the participant has already checked in at that work area. The check-in time is displayed.
    • INVALID READING - when the QR code/wristband is not valid for the event or the device loses its internet connection
    • PARTICIPANT WITHOUT ACCESS - when the participant's ticket is not valid at that time in the 3cket Desk code

Multi-participant check-in

When a participant has multiple tickets, they must send them to each of their companions via the send tickets option under their QR code. This allows each participant to have access to their own digital ticket and all the features available at the event, as well as added security tools.

By scanning the QR code of a participant with multiple tickets, it is possible to check in several participants at the same time. In the first step, the attendee 's ticket is selected and, in the next step, which extra tickets to check in. Tickets that are not selected remain available for later check-in.
