Simply select "Create Interaction" and specify thename, version, andtypeof interaction.

2. Add questions

After creating the interaction, you must addat least one questionunder"Add Question." Only then will the interaction become available and thecontrollerbe unlocked.

You can edit the questions, add new ones, or change their order at any time.

Control the interaction

During the event, interaction is managed through thecontroller:

Action Result
Open The interaction appears as a new tab on the participants' digital tickets.
Get Started The challenge begins. Participants can now vote or respond.
Next question Skip to the next question when there are multiple questions.
Close The interaction ends. The tab immediately disappears from the digital ticket.

The results are displayed in real time on the controller. The "Presentation" option allows you to display the interaction on a screen for the audience.

In voting or response interactions, each participant may only answer each questiononce.

Thetime, in seconds, since the start of the interaction is displayed in the upper-right corner of the controller. This is useful for knowing when to move on to the next question.

How Each Interaction Works

A vs. B

Each question has two options, and the participant selects one of them on the digital ticket. The votes for each option and the total are tallied in real time on the controller.

Example: "What's your favorite game console?" — PlayStation or Xbox.

Usingthe speed setting(from 0.1x to 99x), you can adjust the rate at which the result bars fill up. With few participants, a higher speed makes the progress more visible. With many participants, a lower speed prevents the bars from filling up too quickly.

Poll

Similar to A vs. B, but withup to 6 optionsper question and no "correct" answer. This format is used to gauge public opinion. The options are defined when each question is created.

The votes for each option and the total are tallied in real time on the controller. Just like in A vs. B, you can adjust thespeedof the result bars and move on tothe next question.

Example: "What's your favorite topping?" — Ketchup, mayonnaise, or mustard.

Questionnaire

Multiple-choice quiz. Thecorrect answeris defined when each question is created. Participants select one option per question on the digital ticket, and the responses for each option are tallied in real time on the controller.

The program moves from one question tothe next. At the end, simply choose the number of winners (fromtop 1totop 20) and select“Generate Results.” Results can be generated at any time, but it’s customary to do so at the end.

The winner is the person who getsthe most answers correct. In the event of a tie, the winner is the person who answered correctlythe fastest. The winners are listed inthe "Winners" section, and participants who rank at the top can see their position on their digital ticket.

Example: A quiz with 10 questions about the event's artist, with prizes for the top 3.

The Right Price

Participants try to guess the value of a product or prize and submit their answer on the digital ticket. Each participant may submit onlyone value, which is locked in once submitted. The answers appear on the controller, listed bysubmitted numbers, along with the participant’s name.

To find the winners, simply:

  1. Enter thecorrect price.
  2. Select the number of winners atthe top.
  3. Selectthe winner.

The winner is the person who comesclosest to the correct price without exceeding it. In the event of a tie, the person who answered first wins.

Participants who finish in the top spots will see their ranking on the digital ticket (for example,"You came in 1st place"). The "Remove Winner" option clears the entire selection.

Bingo

Each participant receives a card with numbers (from 00 to 99) on their digital ticket. In the controller, the“Generate New Number”option draws one number at a time, and the participant marks the drawn numbers on the card.

Just like in traditional bingo, whoever fills out their card first wins. The card is then validated by the organizers, based on the list ofprevious numbersdisplayed on the controller.

Word cloud

The question created in the back office is thetitledisplayed on the digital ticket (for example, “Write your word here”). Participants write a word and submit it; they can submitas many words as they like.

Inthe presentation, the words form a word cloud: the most frequently written word is highlighted in the center, in a larger font, and the rest are scattered across the screen, appearing larger or smaller depending on how many times they were written.

In the controller, under "Submitted Words," each word is displayed along with the participant's name. The "Remove" option removes inappropriate words from everywhere: the presentation, the controller, and the digital scorecard.

Example: "In one word, how would you describe this event?"

Submit questions/comments

The question created in the back office is thetitlethat appears on the digital ticket, above the text box (for example,"Submit your question to the speaker").

Participants write a question or comment and submit it; they can sendas many messages as they like. Each message appears on the controller with the participant's name and is moderated before being displayed:

Stage What happens
Questions Submitted Messages sent by participants. Each one can beacceptedorrejected.
Moderate-difficulty questions Messages accepted. When you select "Put on Stage," the message is displayed.
Question from the audience Featured message, visible onthe home screenand at the top of the digital ticket tab. To remove it, simply select "Remove from Spotlight."

Example: At a conference, the audience submits questions to the speaker, and the organizers decide which ones will be asked on stage.

Participant Drawing

Randomly select a winner from among the event participants. In the controller, participants are added to the drawing using one of two options:

  • Add participants who have checked in— only those who have already entered the event.
  • Add attendees with tickets— all attendees with a valid ticket for the event.

The number of participants included is shown under "Registered Names." When you select "Select Winner," a participant is randomly chosen, and their name, cell phone number, and age are displayed. The "Remove Winner" option resets the result.

On the digital ticket, each participant can see whether they won (“Congratulations, you won!”) or not (“Oops! You didn’t win this time”).
